"Home" flag on Profile and "No End Date" option need adding.

Nomads.com

When on your Profile on Nomads.com, if youā€™ve got gaps thereā€™s a ā€œTrip dates don't connect between 2024-12-05 Tallinn and 2025-06-19 Budapest, missing trip? (refresh page to update thisā€ warning message you get.

Needs to be a way to just click and say ā€œI was homeā€ during that period between trips.

Also some way to set where home is, and obv adapt it if youā€™ve had a home base in multiple places.

Lastly is the last trip - you need to have an option for ā€œno endā€ for trips youā€™re still on that donā€™t have a definite end date OR as a setting for like ā€œIā€™m home just now for the foreseeable futureā€

That way it can get overwritten by the start date of the next trip.

Might help tidy up the look of the Profile page trip list thing a bit when youā€™re logged in.

Love the site bro

Hi, this is commonly requested feature but unfortunately it canā€™t be shipped.

The end date of a trip is important because it defines the trip length and when youā€™re there. That is used to match you with other users.

If thereā€™s no end date, trips can go on forever, and with people stop using the site thatā€™d turn into chaos I think.

Re: home, best for now is to add your home in between the trips. Iā€™ve considered adding a [ Add home ] feature but problem is digital nomads move so much their home is usually in flux! :D
