From a UX pov, neither of these work. Profiles are sorted by matches_score afaik and after getting a notification, I swipe say 5-10 times. Nothing happens, indicating that the match wasn’t swiped on.
From a user pov it doesn’t make sense because right-swiped profiles place higher (boosted matches_score?). On the other hand if it’s working as intended then feature wise I think it should be improved because it’s failing to serve its purpose.
MVP improvements:
Expand UI to show more essential information (age and full profile text)
Enhance profile ranking algorithm to prioritize right-swiped profiles, age, distance etc. (I’m sure you already have these weighted in there).
Review the chat connection system for potential issues?
