One thing that I’ve noticed is that trips are presented in the API request JSON https://nomads.com/@<username>.json?key=<key>, but they are not shown on the web page. Could it be some caching issue? I’m happy to help debug the issue if you need any help.

I think it’s related yes, some specific trips seem to be hidden on the page but actually do exist in the db, so we know it’s not a db problem which is good news.

I think that the actual issue could be the “Trips privacy” setting,
> Only show your previous trips but keep your current and future trips private. People you follow can see your trips regardless. Once you left a place, the trip will show up. Nice if you like to log your trips but not want people to know where you are, or will be going. This means people won't be able to see you're in a city to meet you there though if you don't follow them.
It seems that current and future trips are only shown when the key is provided (https://nomads.com/@user?key=<key>) and are hidden for the profile owner by the mistake (on https://nomads.com/@user).
