I'm not getting job alert emails — what's wrong?

Check your email preferences, spam folder, and subscription status on the email alerts dashboard.

A few things to check:

  1. Email preferences: Log in, open your profile, and make sure the Get emails checkbox is ticked. Click save.
  2. Spam folder: Check your spam and promotions tabs. Add no-reply@remoteok.com to your contacts so it doesn't get filtered.
  3. Subscription: Make sure you actually subscribed to alerts for a tag. For example, on any tag page (e.g. remoteok.com/remote-dev-jobs) click Get notified of new jobs.
  4. Frequency: If there are no new matching jobs that week, you won't get an email. You can change frequency via the change frequency link at the bottom of any alert email.

You can always review and reactivate alerts on the email alerts dashboard.
